I have been in the mortgage lending and real estate since 1984. I began my career in real estate as a Real Estate Loan Processor for an independent mortgage broker in San Diego, California. I was quickly promoted through the ranks of the real estate mortgage business to the positions of Underwriter, Funder, Insuring and Guaranteeing Officer, Loan Officer, Regional Vice President for wholesale lending, and now the President/Owner/Broker for Finance Plus Real Estate and Finance Plus Mortgage. In addition to my extensive experience in the mortgage business, I have also been selling real estate since 1987. I have won Top Producer awards for real estate sales, Top Producer for Loan Origination, and awards from her wholesale banks for Best Loan Packaging. In addition to selling real estate and mortgage lending I have been building homes for resale in San Diego, California since 1999. I conduct seminars for the public to educate them with the latest market conditions and consumer protection and I am an advocate for consumer awareness in the mortgage industry and real estate.
I hold the following Certifications and Designations for Real Estate expertise:
SFR-Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Certification
CRS-Certified Residential Specialist
SRES-Senior Residential Specialist
ABR- Accredited Buyer Representative
RMS- Risk Management Specialist
CNE - Ceritified Negotiation Expert
SRS- Seller Representation Specialist
Certified HAFA Specialist
With my extensive background in mortgage lending, selling real estate, and home building, I am knowledgeable and experienced in most aspects of real estate and real estate financing. The home selling, buying, and financing process is so multifaceted that it requires someone with expert experience in all related fields to be able to navigate the transaction to a successful close.
Home selling and buying can be one of the most stressful events in ones life, but it does not have to be!
Most real estate transactions fall out due to improperly qualifying Sellers and Buyers. As a Sellers agent, I do extensive marketing that go far beyond simply putting it on the internet. As a Seller’s Broker, I am able to guarantee the Buyer’s closing by eliminating the #1 reason for escrow fall out, “Buyer did not qualify for the loan”. Prequalification letters from lenders are worthless. There are other tools that I use to insure the buyer does qualify, so that the escrow closes. Often during my real estate career, I have been able to step in and get the buyer financing when others have failed.
As a Buyer’s Broker, I make sure that the buyers are fully loan approved BEFORE they go house hunting. I make sure that the Buyer is fully loan approved before they go shopping! This loan approval gives the Buyer more power at the negotiation table because I can eliminate the “loan contingency” in the Purchase Contract.
Thank you for visiting my web site, and I look forward to working with you to insure that your dream of Homeownership comes true.
The difference is experience, attention to details, caring about your future success!
